Who runs this site
Sioux Falls Gutter (siouxfallsgutter.com) is an independent information and quote-request site for homeowners in and around Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We don’t install, repair or clean gutters. Questions about this policy go to hello@siouxfallsgutter.com.
What we collect
When you ask for a quote, the form collects:
- your name, phone number, email address and ZIP code
- the service you need, your property type and when you need it
- any job details you type and any photo you upload
It also records how you reached us: the page you sent the form from, the site that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link, such as UTM tags or a Google click ID. The form may record your IP address to help block spam.
When you send a message from the contact page, that form collects your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. It may also record your IP address to help block spam.
The site uses Google Analytics, through Google Site Kit, to count visits and see which pages lead to quote requests. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and receives details such as the pages you view, your device type and your approximate location, under Google’s privacy policy. Nothing you type into the quote form is sent to Google Analytics. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. We don’t run advertising trackers. Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security.
What we do with it
We use your request to put you in touch with one local gutter contractor about your job. We send that contractor your request, including your contact details, job details and any photo, so they can reach you by phone, text or email. That is what the consent box on the form covers. Each request goes to one contractor, not a list.
We use a contact message only to reply to it. It doesn’t go to a contractor.
We use the details about how you reached us to learn which pages and links bring in requests.
Contractors pay us for the requests we send them. We don’t give or sell your details to anyone else.
Who else handles it
Our web host stores the site, the requests and contact messages. Both reach us by email, so our email provider handles them too.
The maps on the homepage and the service area page are Google Maps embeds. When one loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep requests and contact messages for 24 months, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner. The contractor keeps their own copy under their own policies.
Your choices
Email hello@siouxfallsgutter.com or use the contact page to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can tell the contractor to stop contacting you at any time, and we will pass the message on if you ask.
Children
This site is for homeowners. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Our Terms of Use cover the rest of how the site works.
